This is a presentation I made as a guest speaker, at the ‘Activation Day’ event managed by HeadLion for Unilever Pakistan’s marketing team on November 5th, 2010. 9 years later, and with the penetration of the internet into our lives, ‘The Experience’ is more valid than ever.
I did some research and compiled some of my thoughts on the practice of Experiential Marketing, within the broader scope of Brand Activation. It may make sense to some, as it is published in a synoptic manner. Students of marketing may make more sense of it than others.

At times, Innovation is not about total and absolute disruption, but about tweaking and modification. Why do we need to re-invent the wheel to make a dent? Maybe because a revolution is far more romantic than an evolution. At times, observing, reviewing or “noticing” from within the existing setup or surrounding, through an existing product or service, presents more opportunities for innovation.
